Oh no, do carry on.

Tell us more about the car. Did you purchase it recently, or are you the original owner?
I'll keep it short mate but this is the jist of it..

The car was owned by a lady who had it registered as a company car on her husbands company fleet (which included a 635, Merc 500 and a 735!). He sadly passed away and the lady reluctantly sold the car soon after. My friends uncle who knew of the car through the ladys son recommended it to my friend (a BMW teccie) who bought it. Up untill 2002, it had only covered 17,553 miles with full BMWSH! She loved the car and was actually crying when my friend drove it away. The service schedule shows that no expense was spared and I've tried to maintain that.

My mate sold it to me and I've had it for almost 5 years now. Its on a classic insurance policy (Carole Nash - highly recommended) and its been enjoyable motoring - (although its going to get checked over this w/end as think the cam might be playing up as possibly too noisy to be tappets)

Thats about the size of it mate.

Thanks for all the comments lads-much appreciated.

Possibly a potential concours contender if you felt that way inclined.

Such a nice looking car in the pics.

Will it be at any of the shows this year?

The pictures mask a couple of blemishes mate such as a couple of rust areas which will need addressing (you can just about see it on the A pillar in the pictures) hopefully will be addressed this summer with a complete alloy refurb.

Concours might be a step too far unfortunately but you never know.. :D

Never been to the shows but hopefully will try and get down this year...
