Shame it's only a 320i auto though, still if you ever come to selling it let me know :D
Cheers Kedge.

If you look in the engine conversion section it just about to go in for a 2.5 and auto to manual conversion.

:D
Good man, hope you have more luck with the swap than I've had :)

Sorry, hadn't seen your reply. As Dan said, i've not been able to get the engine to fire up since swapping it. No idea why as nothing was removed from the engine other than unplugging the ECU and C101 plug as the whole front end got fitted from under the car in one go.

As i have got no closer to sussing the problem i am now going to convert to the later engine management set up

Do sometimes wish i'd paid someone else to do it, should have been such a simple swap

not really the best idea for me to try and do it myself, car would of been in a whole world of pain! The new engine is from a 1990 car so there is all the wiring to do etc, should run sweet when finished. Not cheep mind but as i have no intentions of selling the car anytime soon its a good investment.

The nuts and bolts part was easy, just mystifying as to why it won't start.

Yours is going to be awesome now it got some more power, you'll love it even more.
