Thinking about putting some new ICE in my car and want to know if it will work.
I want to set up a 4-channel amp powering 2 front speakers and a sub.
I'm considering this boschmann amp http://www.ultimatemods.co.uk/boschmann ... annel.html
hooked up to these speakers http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/produc ... /8822.html
and possibly a sub like this http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/produc ... /6438.html
Making sure all the ohms measures etc match up is doing my head in!
Anyone have some advice or help?
Will this set up work?

Hi
it would work, but personally i would go for a 12" sub it would sound alot better and a set of components in the front rather than a set of 2ways. the amp is more than up to the job, also make sure your head unit has two preouts ideally sub and front or rear and front otherwise you will have to split the rcas.

Thanks Kam, HU has 3 rca preout so no worries there.
Components were more of a hassle because of the tweeters and needing to get door pods etc which put the price up more.
I had a 10" before in my old iS and it was loud enough for me! Going for more of the quality over volume anyway.

10 or 12 inch doesn't dictate more volume.
The 12" will reach deeper notes and do so easier. Should give a fuller, more rounded sound.

Dude please don't buy that amp. Please. Buy a rockford fosgate amp of ebay. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Rockford-Fosgate- ... 2305016384
Componets will make a big difference, go for these http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/produc ... d/506.html or http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/produc ... /6585.html Check the mounting depth
And get either a JBL or Pioneer 12"sub http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Pioneer-TS-W255C- ... 3a5725bad1
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/JBL-GT5-12-1100W- ... 3a570a7600
