I realistically considered a e36 328i as i could have got one after i sold the E30, but since it seemed like a bit of a sidestep (step backwards in some peoples opnion) i got something totally different in the end

Recently ran an E34 M5 for two years and 50k miles. Absolutely awesome driving experience, and even more awesome running costs!!

I hate to be a party pooper, but I think my next purchase of a road car is going to be another Audi Coupe. Then my play thing will be an E30...
Mind you, this could all change tomorrow... it's only because I went to the Edition 38 VW show today that's made me change my mind back to the Audi...
Edit: We all knew you were a camper anyway...

E46 M3 when the prices come down a bit.
Failing that I don't think my next car will be a BMW after the sport. Just not enough power. The trouble is, anything I like that isn't a BMW is way out of my price range.
I quite like the RX7's but I refuse to go Jap out of principal. Whatever it is, it'll be RWD.

Good choice, wouldn't mind one of those, e30 m3, intergrale, rs200, 6r4, or a 205t16.Simon wrote:Ur quattro next for me.
either would do as a play thing, then keep the sport for everyday

I badly want another AMC pacer, preferrably a '76 D/L with the auxillary gauge cluster and the quadrophonic am/fm 8 track 'entertainment centre'.
P.S can some one post a picture of a pacer? , i'm sure some of our younger members have never had the pleasure of seeing a pacer in the flesh so why not whet their appetite !. I am virtually illiterate with computers , even doing this taxes me !

Wil you f*cken hero !!! you've made my day and my night. That is a rare '76 pacer X which is the sporty model , note the opening 1/4 lights that is a rare and desireable option. . My gilt tissue box is now empty i best rush down to lidl and get some more, i have a feeling i'm going to be 'up' all night !

Just watched Pimp my Ride... they just pimped one. Pete, it would have made you cry. Shag pile carpets on the floor, roof and doors... was proper council with 18" chrome rims... Everett would have loved it!

I've just got back from lidl with 3 packets of kitchen towel , i find it's much better for them awkward 'spills' and its much cheaper than tissues.
Yes Wil you have rumbled me , i have owned 5 pacers over the years and love them, they are slow, thirsty and dynamically challenged but great fun and different (a bit like e28s ,sorry Giles !) Alas i have no pacers at the moment, my current affliction involves jeep grand wagoneers , a big 60s/70s style 4x4 with a 5.9 v8 and lots of fake wood down the side (go on Wil get a photo up, a black one if poss!) . My therapist assures me i am normal !.
