Just browsing ebay and came across these, seams lenso are no doing a deeper dish version of the BSX normaly only 16" 7.5 like ive got on mine but the new 9's look even better shame there not 7.5" and 8" then id have a set and run some proper sized tryes on them the grip would be better for me to :D

Think there a little steep but still half the price of real 16"bbs though, if people start buying these instead it might start the price of real one dropping abit, if no ones buying them then they will have to drop the price :D

I wonder if you can get them without the little fake bolts around the centre emblem.

Thats the only thing that lets them down in my eyes.

9 x 16 with ET25 would be an interesting fit on an E30 :squint:

I doubt that very much, there's a strong following of the BBS's, and over the last couple of years, they've only gone up in price despite the amount of "Lookalike" wheels comming onto the market.
Lenso's have been known for laquer peeling after a period of time.Cheap, Yes, but a pain when they need a refurb.

Are these 4x100 only? The previous wheels were multi fitment which really put me off. They do look pretty good 8)

Think there 4x100 an 4x108 (audi?) I was very happy with the fitment of mine when i got them.

Hear what your saying rav but there havent ever been a good bbs copy thats available in 16x9'' which id guess is the most common width people would build genuine bbs's to for the rear seeing as theres never been a 9'' copy thats good quality and affordable. I know what you mean with the genuine following but £700 against £1200 is a set of coilovers to get the 'stance' especialy in the vw scene id say. Thats why i got them, the money saved paid for my Billies an h&r anti roll bars.

Lenso must be shifting them to be able to afford to pay bbs to copy them.

Good point on the cost, but you've also got to take into account the weights of the wheels too, build quality etc...
Not knocking the wheels, they look good, it's just what i've heard about the laquer and paint flaking.

Ya, there has been afew people complain about the laqure, i personaly havent had any trouble with mine but they havent been used every day on a daily driver.

I would always have the genune ones if they came up for the same price but i think these are a good affordable substitute.

the genuimne bbs wheels will still be desirable due to them being geunine and the ability to be rebuilt in what ever size you want but i'd guess that for the magority of people fitting them they will be fitted with stretched tyres to clear arches that werent ment to take 9" wheels so they wont be botherd about there weight when there car handles like poo anyway dropped to the floor on coilovers. lol

Have you got any 16" in your stash 8) , i see youve got quite a collection now

Yes I have, a set of 003's to sell when they've bee refurbed to 8.5 and 9.5j, but you know they will command a reflective price of the size and rebuild.

Will these badboys fit straight onto my Sport, it's going to have 35MM dropped springs and standard rear arches ? Just want to make sure I don't have to do anything to the rear arches to make them fit.

Only thing I don't like about these is how the nuts on the outer edge justlook like they were put on as a after though without thinking it through....

If you look at the nuts in relation to the spokes they are iregular and don't follow a patern. There should be nuts where the 2 spokes join or in between the spokes, not anywhere at all....

It's prob how they can get away with being in breach of copyright :D

Only downside to them or I'd be saving the penies for a set. 15" BBS are just gonna have to do for a bit longer
