have an idleing problem!!!!!

hi i got a problem with my 320i it seems if i give it some stick on a duelly or similar when i pull to a stop or go to turn around sort of thing the car cuts out and when driving normally i pull uip at traffic lights the revometer and the dcar idles then dies then idels then dies like picking up and dieing do you rekon it could be the idle control valve or air flow sensor??????
