What's everyone using for exhaust manifold for the M50 engine

I have read earlier about using the M52 alloy ones and cut to fit,
but i am looking to use the cast iron m50 as the alloy m52 is hard to come by.

has anyone tried using the e34 m50 exhaust manifolds? will it work?
