If its clean and rust free then a spring of tinkering and dropping a 2.5 (or bigger) in there will make things more interesting winkeye

From what i saw, yours is a very clean and straight example. If you got rid of it you would kick yourself for letting such a clean car go!! It would take a long time to find another one in the same sort of condition as yours.

Save up and stuff a 24v engine in there!

Sell it, have a break from them - you'll be back wanting one sooner than you think winkeye
Previously owned loads of old E30s, E34s, a few E36s, E32s, E39s and an E38.

Currently in a diesel Audi - miss me old E30's....

My advice would be to drive a modern car for a few minutes. I guarantee when you get out, you'll feel as though this car has robbed you of valuable BMW time.

There's nothing quite like 'The Ultimate Driving Machine'

Sell it. If you're bored, you're bored.

You wont miss it as much as people say, it's only a lump of tin.

+1

Having to work at re-awakening an interest in a car is silly. It defeats the purpose of what being an enthusiast is all about ~ it shouldn't be a chore.

Stick a cheap B25 in it. Give it a good wash and polish, then put a for sale sign in the back window.

Drive it around until it someone offers you what you want for it, and enjoy it while you do.
