Have a cabbie - lookie to replace the speakers. Rear has Pioneer TS-138 Dual cone speakers - 40 watt with 4ohm impedance. They measure 10.25cm between the holes for fixing and are 13cmx13cm wide and 5.25cm deep.

Front ones will be the same as all other E30s im assuming.

Not looking to blow the windows out just a decent sound - nice and clear?

Anybody able to help. :D

theres not really a best speaker to suggest as it all depends on what sort of music you like and how you like to listen to it.

Having said that you cant go far wrong with some Alpine Type R speakers

80/90s dance? :o:

No seriously just a straightforward like for like would do?

Surely the majority of people have replaced these speakers by now?

I'm sure they have but there are that many different speakers on the market that to pick out anyone pair is impossible.

Try Alpines even the cheaper ones will still be 100 times better than the OE speakers, they start from about £30 a pair but i would spend at least £50 on the fronts and £50 on the back.

You want components up front with some coax speakers in the rear
