Northampton may be a bit far for the Notts lads?

Lichfield one looks ok:

Tbh Imy, the Northampton one would probably be better
later in the year.

The Lichfield one does look good tbh!! The Toby Cavery does'nt seem too popular and I have to admit I'm not feeling the love either. Perhaps we should pick a few different venues and all vote on it?

Lichfield or Northampton are both do-able..

Would be good if its a venue used by other car clubs as should be
geared up for us all then.

Anyone been to any of them?

Just thinkign out loud, but wasn't there an E30 meet at Billing Aquadrome (northampton) last year?

I also know that the queen eleanor (northampton) was used for a weekly classic car club, and they have a retro rides meet there every now and again.

The billing meet is a full weekend and a general BMW one, a whole area is set aside for this at the venue, it's an annual thing.

Bowling Green in Lichfield would be good for me and does have a decent carpark, but if you're thinking of a Sunday Lunchtime meet we'd have exactly the same problems with parking/sunday dinner brigade as at the Toby Carvery at Stonebridge ( if not worse - the carpark is probably the same size as the Toby ) - plus you have to pay to park - not much but we all know how tight Zoners are :duck: :chuckle:

Shut it you slagggggggg

Seriously thought going up and down the country and a darn sight easier than having to trudge through Northampton or Coventry or worse still going through Buckingham to get far enough East to do a meet along the M1. It may add like 20-30miles on the jounrney but when you think that's added onto the 60-70miles I just do to get to the midlands meet it soons start adding up. Remember my Alpina will only do 22-23mpg if I am carefull, which lets face it I aint!
