SCOTLAND - Meeting at Drem 13th February 2010

Ok guys, next meeting for Central Scotland is planned for Saturday 13th February at Cartech/Pure Reflections in Drem.

Start time is 10am and we'll be closing up around 4pm. Feel free to come along whenever suits you best.

We'll be putting some hot food on the barby after 12pm but feel free to bring some food and soft drinks along yourself.

As ever, someone will need something done and Paul (Pure Reflections) and Neil (Cartech) will be on hand to provide detailing and valet services and E30 servicing and repairs.

If you want some work done on the day, please contact Paul (Ricey46) and Neil (Neil320Touring) to arrange beforehand - first come, first served.

Remember although it is encouraged to bring an E30 along, it is not mandatory. We're also encouraging people to bring along any bits they want to sell/swop - normal Zone rules apply.

I have a mountain of E30 facelift cab bits left over, to much to fit in the boot so if anyone needs anything let me know and I will see if I have it

Hi Ali, the postcode is EH39 5BW

If you leave Drem heading north it is about 0.8 of a mile (according to google). Heading north there is a big layby on the LHS of the road and just at the end of the layby there is a turn off to the right in to some units. That is were the meet is. Round the back, there should be a few E30s outside and a few dismantled inside!!!

My dad met a few of you back in november/december and mentioned that the scottish group were meeting to break a car on saturday, but i couldn't find the forum post.

Following a visit to CLCM wheel/tracking garage, I'm after a rear trailing arm + hub assembly for a 91 320 touring.

Would the breaking car be a suitable donor? Or anyone know of a source - tried the usual edinburgh + lothians breakers yards.

There's two White 6 pot tourers for breaking in the Inverkeithing yard - and I know someone who would probably take all the good panels from one of them, don't think he'd be interested in the rear suspension bits..... Perfect opportunity for the next zone frag up here.

I've sourced the part from another e30zoner. Should have it next week, but the breaking will be my contingency for if/when it all goes wrong.

Yes, count me in for the meet. I may even be driving in a straight line by that date!

will definetly try hard to come along... as i get my kids at the weekend so it dont realy give me free time. ill look on the map so i can find out how to get there etc as id be coming from glasgow.. never attended a meet before so im sure it will be a good experiance and look forward to it if i can make it, my car aint special just an average 316 lux but hey its an e30
