e30 electric and manual operated convertible top the same ?

Hi guys,

Just wondering if there are any difference between the electric and manual operated convertible top ? Is it ok to buy a top for a power top frame and fit it to manual top frame ?

This will work. It is a new one? If not, it is recommendable to replace the tensioning straps to ensure proper folding.

they are slightly different but as Jenad says the power one will fit a manual but not the other way round...check the tensioners as it is the only time you have the chance to change them easily and also check the tension wires that run down the edges
