m50 lump with m40 box.
I know that i have to use a 320i selector
People make reference to a 320i cradel, what is this?
The only thing i can think of is the mounting bracket for the gearbox mountings.
Can any one shed some light on this?
TIA

the "cradel" is part 1.
You will need part 10 aswell, and depending on how much you want to replace... items 2,6,11,12,13,14,15 and 16 will help reduce any sloppyness in the gear lever. I presume you are fitting a z3 short shift lever too to finish it all off nicely?

Sorry if i sound a bit dumb but do i need the actual selector rod as well or just the parts you have said.
Probably will fit a short shift at a later date.
As for rav335uk,doing this conversion because i already had an E36.So i broke it up to make more £`s than selling in one go and kept the lump.

I`ve found a bloke on e bay who`s stripping a 320 and h`es asked me to make an offer on the selector.
What would be a reasonable price to offer.I was gona say £20 posted :?

I think i got the "cradel" for £20 posted (it was a while ago!) why not ask for a deal on the cradle and the selector rod?
