On Market Sport Evo info...

Never seen this car. But I just don't think ANY SE with over 70K on the clock is worth nearly £30K! They were that new!
Some will know that JayKay recently bought a E30 M3. He's not short of a few quid, but he didn't buy an overpriced SE!

IIRC, a low mileage Cecotto for around £26 ish. Cecottos are rarer that SE's too. Which is the better investment?

right hand side, every photo of that m3 is taken of the left. which always makes me wonder when your selling a very expensive car.
when i was selling the mini i had 12 photos on the add, front, rear, sides, wheels, boot, interior and engine. and i was only asking 2.5k for a cooper.
so 30k for an e30 i expect the photos posted to my house on photo paper.

Good evening gentleman,
The "shell" Sport Evo I'm aware of was a red one that was crashed a few years ago and sold in pieces by Bexley Motor Works at the time. That "shell" was sold naked and is in the hands of someone I know, still naked.
LOL@HairyScreech

Hello all,
I'd just like to comment here that I've had a call from the seller of this SE who has apparently had a couple of interested buyers. These interested buyers for whatever reason are throwing my name around, Salman, as the person who is bad mouthing this car and so neither of us are happy.
For the record I have been asked by others about the SE with numberplate "DEATH" and have seen it as I knew the previous owner. He along with the current owner will admit to its poor current state and so there is no issue.
The point here is that this SE being discussed is NOT that car so please can these people leave any mention of me aside.
Much appreciated.

This car is NOT the DEATH turd. The DEATH turd is currently having a complete acid dip stylee resto . The same guy owns both cars. Many of these cars are bogged up turds with stories and issues. Unless you know your onions , a proper 'autopsy' is imperative.

How about buying one for £13-15k and then spending £15k on a resto on it. At least you know what work has been done to it?
Just a thought.
Every M3 is going to need work whatever price you buy the car at. preventative maintenance and all that.
Or you could offer X Works £45k and get the best e30 M3, in the world, right off this forum. To see the work that has gone into that . In my opinion there isn't a better resto'd car out there at the minute. just my two penneth worth.

Yeh but resto'ed cars are second fiddle to all original going by what people generally believe.
Depends what a restored car actually is. Mine was a straight original and unmodified car that was given a new scuttle, a glass out repaint and a very good going through. By the time a car needs the floor welding back in and 15 years of bodging sorting out it's never going to be right short of a £30'000 bare shell rebuild.
