done a few small jobs this last few days.

oil change
new front discs
washed car
removed grills, rubbed them down and then sprayed them matt black.
rubbed down rocker box cover, masked off the stripes and bmw logo and sprayed black.
removed the plastic trim bits on the scuttle from by the wipers, rubbed them down and spaayed matt black.
removed rear bumper, straightened bracket and refitted bumper.

only thing i didnt do was change the back box as the replacement is from a 3 piece system and mine is 2 piece.

craig also redid his grills and scuttle trims and fitted his new rocker box cover (well i fitted it while he watched  _

cheers to richy and craig for the help as always.

few pics of mine n craigs cars after the work had been completed

Looks great.
What paint did you use on the plastic parts? I need to repaint the lower valence on the 318.

On my car, in the last week, garage fitted new clutch and changed gearbox and diff oil. I fitted new timing chain, sprockets, water pump, thermostat. Refitted BBS 15" wheels with new tyres.

Result: car feels a lot better, smoother, more mpg, steering is lighter. Chuffed.

doesnt really matter ive used same paint for years with no problems
rockercover doesnt really hot enough to cause problems with the paint

you could go all out and buy the crackle paint but thats even more expensive

i just use mat as a cheap mod
