It does not smell rich, the lambda sensors are not coming on the scaner. Also it does not have a middle box, its two pipes from the manifold to the back box. would fitting a middle box help?

Hi guys, my m52 pops/rattles in the exhaust when i press or back of the throttle (sp) i changed the back box thinking that would help, but it has not. Do you guys suffer from this? if so have you cured it and how/what did you do to it?

Check your lambda sensors are actually tight.
I had a metallic sound coming from mine when revving it and letting off, noticed I had forgotten to fully tighten up one of the sensors.

Yeah its a metalic sound, and the sensors are realy tight. i have a video of it some where on the computer.
But it seams to come from the back end of the exhaust, and it is driving me nuts. Even a little start stop in traffic it pops when you back of, when the revs start to drop down.
