I dont think Nikasil is an issue, theres few cases of it and the ones that have come up have been fixed under warrenty. Bicycle boy Moofles Z3 had an M52 and i dont think his had any problems.johnono wrote:what was that nikasil thing though

What lack of refinement? I don't know what state some of you let your cars get into, but I regularly drive a couple of modern cars as well (Audi A3 and last model Astra SRi), and find my E30s every bit as refined and quiet, a lot more confortable on long runs, and a far better driving experience all round.6potWil6pot wrote:Yes i advise that too, 24v it up. BMW still use virtually the same suspension on compact models. There's nothing wrong with them, and nothing wrong with my collection on rough roads.
