Just after a bit of advice for my brother really, as he needs his alloys to look nice before he sells his motor - it's not an e30 but thought I'd seek some advice on here...

How much should he be looking at to get all alloys pretty again! Apparently they have a few scuffs from pavements etc, but no major dents. What's the process involved, sandblasting and repainting?

its quicker to get a company to do it or get him to prep it and just ask a body shop to paint them

If its not to bad and just some light kerbing, why not just do a diy. Sand, prime, base coat and lacquer - not ideal but if its just to tidy up?

I think powder coating is best £50-£60 per wheel though

You've not met my brother.... When I commented on the size of his discs, he didn't even know what I was talking about...!! He's about as practical as a paper hammer!! I've suggested he gets them done properly, or if he needs it done quickly, just not to drive it after, he'll only kerb them again!

As above really johnt - if I told him to sand them, he'd probably have a go at the tyres!
