I would love to buy a few of these, but Hartge wont post to Australia other than through the most expensive postage possible. Takes a reasonably priced part and makes it very expensive.

As such, if a group buy is happening that send them to the UK, I wouldn't mind if a set was included for me and then some kind zoner posted mine onto Australia using a more reasonably priced Royal Mail or similar option.

Regards
David

I'm sure me and Stuart can organise a group buy. I didint realise the 5 stud ones were NLA... looks like you got a bargain Nick..

If required I can forward a set on to Aus as long as the postage is being covered and they do come well wrapped

well the list is started.. I need numbers to go to Hartge DE with. I also need to point out that i need to pay these by bank transfer so if any one chooses to pay me by paypal THEY need to cover the paypal fees as I'm doing this to help others out not to benefit my self. if any one that is wanting to help deal with this that everyone knows better than me then step forward and ill give you my details to get in touch with me

Would you mind telling me what you paid per set for the 12 caps you already have?

"Hartge will be pleased to sell me a set for 178 euros", I bet they will be, thats a lot more than the £25 a cap I thought they were!

In the 1+year since this thread started when SilverShadow posted the price of £25/cap, we've gone from about 64p/Euro to over 90p/Euro.
In terms of Euros (which is obviously what Hartge will price on) the caps haven't actually gone up very much - if at all.
Blame the British banking system!

I hear ya Stu, but £175 is half way there to an almost presentable set of wheels! I'm not desperate for them and I know 2nd hand ones do come up on ebay now and then...

If the group buy is closer to the £100 than the £175 then I will be in... :)

as stated we paid £150 a set. if i can get more names on the list i can then go to my contact at Hartge DE and try and get a discount. until then the price will stand at £150 a set delivered to the UK. but with only 2 names at the moment i cant see them giving a discount

that's only about 115 euros.. its the pound that's lost the value!

to get them for 100 pounds you would need to avoid paying the vat and postage....

I'm in for a set if this is a go. I need at least one due to the tabs being broken off.

16 inch 4x100.

I spoke to JBH about this (due to being in the US).

Thanks

Well, I know how much ours were, and it wasn't that long ago so I could have a pretty close guess. Mine were bought for investment/insurance as well.
I've still got a full set on the car, but one has a broken lug and another is slightly tatty. I don't want to have to put any of the new ones to use until I've got to.

What do you plan on doing with your 'investment', selling for £150 each? If I had broken centre caps id bodge them to fit or I just wouldnt bother, ridiculous price
