Going to be Re-Shelling an e30 cab in the near future....
anyone ever done anything like this and any pointers? :D

all advice greatly welcomed

E30s are probably easier for this than some other makes because of the high quality of all the trim and mechanicals, and the fact that most things are easily removed and replaced without things like adhesive being involved.
Shouldn't be any real problems, just an awfull lot of work, if you're stripping absolutely everything out of one car and fitting it to a bare shell.
I've done just about everything involved at one time or another but not on the same car at the same time.
If the two shells are of a different age you will probably find the odd bracket different, or the spacing of the odd holes changed for no apparent reason.
