LSD from e28 to e30??

Hi guys!

i just found a LSD 4.10 from e28 518. Could that fitt on my e30? Have you heard again of that mod? (e28 diff to e30)

yep that should go on

will need to swap aluminium backplate, and maybe drive cups, for e30 parts.

e28 535i/m535i diffs won't go on an e30 but the rest should.

you sure it's an LSD though?

havent seen it yet to tell the trueth, but i am not getting it from any store but from a friend eho is modificating his 518 to M5 (e34). Still, what should be typed on the unit?

tha backplate and drive cups you talked about, must i buy them or swap them from the diff my e30 now has?

I saw this bad ass e28 in Total BMW (i think last months). it was beautiful, black alpina, spoilers 17" deep dish mags, very mean. i think it was a 528?!? need to check

It was a 528iS.

It lives quite local to me but i haven't managed to "bump" (in a good way) into the owner yet. It looks even better in the metal ... proper

I've seen it several times in my local ASDA, keep nipping in to see if he's about to chat to but no luck yet.
