Im using the OBC gong
power from the sidlights, connected directly to your door switch.

under the steering wheel trim.
or if you want to do it properly, cut a hole in it and mount it from the front.

, the gong u mean, yeap mine is "in" the under wheel trim, i just need to know what wires go where

I spotted that on the ETK a few months back, enquired about it at the dealer and it is available for about Ԛ£40 but it isn't recommended for right hand drive.
The parts guy said it's possible that they might be refused if they ordered it but the only way to find out was to try. I left it as I couldn't afford it at the time.
Give it a go and see if we can get them, would certainly save a few flat batteries

Another part that can be supplied that wasnt factory fitted on Euro models for the 3rd brake light! Looks like a nice fitment too, either roof or parcel shelf mounted.
