Seems to be the noise of the month on my car. :?

When cold, I'm getting a lot of injector tick... Reckon having them ultasonically cleaned will resolve? Can't just stick M30 injectors on an iS, because us 4-pot boys have special (read awkward) injectors.

Also, I've got the strangest indicator problem.

When I smacked the car off the kerb, it was like I broke the rear nearside indicator, fast relay noise and the rear bulb wasn't firing... Swapped the bulb out with the other side and it's beeen fine since. - Until the other side (offside) stopped working yesterday... Was working, then it started doing the fast relay tick with the dashboard repeater flashing correctly. Now all I get is relay noise. - No flashing green on the dash, and none of the right indicators fire at all. :(

Is it something obvious like a fuse? - It's cold outside and I'm stuck at work all day every day at the minute, so I thought I'd pick the collective Zone Brain before opening my bonnet!
...or is it?

Perhaps if I asked about putting a 6-pot engine in I'd get more support? :'(

I'm not predujiced against our weaker engined brothers.
Front indicators can stop working or become intermittent after a shock, because of a not to clever design of front lampholder. Cheap lamps which corrode can be part of the problem as well.
Lamps with blown filaments can sometimes temporarily repair themselves as well if the broken ends touch with vibration from the car's motion.

UPDATE: I've found that all 6 indicators flash ok if you switch on hazard lights, and if you grab the indicator stalk then twist it really hard then the indicators work ok and the light even come on the dashboard.

So it looks like a faulty indicator stalk/switch, agree?
