I've just bought a cylinder head off Scott325SE and just as with most of the guys I've met or spoken to on here he's an absolutely top bloke and a pleasure to deal with.

Item is exactly as described and he couldn't have been more generous with his time. He even offered to take the discs off his current motor (being refreshed) to help me with mine.

Trust is a big thing for me - especially when buying off the internet and it has to be said that I can implicitly trust Scott. And I can safely say you can too.

Scott, I'm awaiting a response to my text messages and my PM with regards the rubber mounts and flywheel. I appreciate that the weather conditions don't make things easy but you could still let me know progress. Txt, call, PM, or on here mate.

Scott, I've not heard from you since the 13th Dec when you told me via sms that you had sourced the missing engine mounts and would send them on to me with the flywheel, I responded to your text with the full/correct address. I've texted you 3 times since, pm'd you, and left the message above. Please let me know what's going on.

I guess it's time to update this thread really.

The story begins here:
http://www.e30zone.net/modules.php?name ... 35&start=0
You won't see the item description because as soon as I drove away with the engine in the van he edited the OP deleting all the details and asked for the thread to be locked.

I offered and paid £750 for the "complete M50 conversion" and had to collect from Carmarthen due to Scotts time limitations (weekend only)

Problems I have had with the items I bought:
1) No e28 M5 engine mounts as per original description (value at least £60)
2) No lightened flywheel as per description (claims his friend has it and will send on, but it's been 7 weeks now)
3) No almost new Sachs clutch as per description, instead an unknown generic clutch.
4) No engine covers
5) Engine had not been turned over every week as per original description, it was very stiff to turn over at first and appears to have light corrosion on the valve seats. Will probably be OK but certainly not as described.

Problems I've had with Scott:
He's not responded to any text messages, pm's, or requests on forum for a month. He sent me a text on 13th December saying he'd sent on the engine mounts. No sign of them and he hasn't replied to my enquiries on who the courier is.

I wouldn't deal with this guy ever again, he's dishonest and doesn't communicate, in short he has no interest in the buyer and treats people pretty badly.
