I have most of that here too.The_Diddler wrote:I need them for the 320 chromie, 51mm front struts, disc brake rear armsSimon13 wrote:Paul you don't need these parts, you've refurbed whats come of the car yes? Why couldn't you just say this to us and get the bumper shocks posted up?!
I had my rear trailing arms refurbed, front struts Dan got for me local as i needed to get them shaprish for refurb with the other bits.
Old ones staying on until engine goes in, then replaced by new stuff.
Only thing i've dragged my feet with is coming down and picking them up, but that can be arranged quite soon, plus i will probably pick up a few other things as well.
Not that far either!

If you Got "Haters",Then your doing something Right!

Paul. The 51mm struts and the rear arms have sold mate. Sorry. I needed them out the way ASAP and i presumed as Simon had that you'd refurbed your existing. I just needed the space so I can get on with refurbing my stuff.
I still have the front cross member here and the bumper shocks.
TOWN325i, if you want to give it a go, then ring me. 07902-835286. The main roads are not too bad. I won't have the fuel bracket but the other bits are here. Maybe a bit late now though, you may have left.

This is getting ridiculous, why do you need a new rear view mirror!!???
As for looms dont bother, connect it to the sunroof wiring or the courtesy lights if you want it to light up when the doors open.
Town will be on his mobile broadband when he gets to work Trevor so should see this

Nice Diddler - but I would have spent the money elsewhere as a minty mirror is only £40 or so with loom normally.
But I admire your high standards demands for minty freshness!
I bought a new loom on German eBay for 5EUR - check there.

'BMW e30 kabelbaum' or 'BMW e30 innenspiegel kabelbaum' is your search.
I knew it was a maplight mirror - it had 'Interior Mirror' written on the bloody box!

Its great to see another moordoor being shown some love!
Why don't you wire up the maplight to work with the comfort circuit? its not too complicated and you can make the wiring as tidy as you want although it will all remain unseen. I think it would compliment the standard you are working to...

I had mine wired to the courtesy light on my 4 door and found it very handy in the dark, the E30 courtesy lights are p1ss poor in comparison to other cars because there is zero light at the front.
Obviously though, it all depends if you will be using the car in the dark on a regular basis. I cant even be bothered to fit a maplight mirror to my chromie because it will never be used

What a shi*ty weather day yesterday and today was, massive thank you to DanThe "Dan" without who's help i wouldnt have been able to get the car to the bodyshop today.
Yesterday the rear trailing arms and rear handbrakes were sorted so we could get a rolling shell, all in all about 5 hrs worth of fun in the cold garage.
Shiny handbrake stuff
, temp refitted shocks and springs as these will be removed etc when the arches get repaired and fully stonechipped and painted

Car finally back on some wheels after what seems like ages stuck in the air.

Car ready to go on its little trip up to Sheffield. Dan gave up his time today and the use of this 5 series touring to get me there. Really cant express how much i've appreciated all his help....
All i had to do was pay for a trailer and spot some cash for LPG for the 5 series.

The car cover lasted about 30 miles before it almost gave up and flew away into the wind, so we stopped and put in in the boot.
He we are at its new home for the next few weeks, Beardymats place in Sheffield, i'll ask nicely if Matt will take some progress pictures, so we can see just how much rust can be found and dealt with

Good to see you got it there fella, shame you could keep her dry but then that was going to be a hell of a struggle to do! Hats off to Dan as well, true Zone spirit
Coming round Saturday has caused me to constantly think about doing this kind of ting to my chromie sooner rather than later now, doh!

Ermmmmmmm lovely
Ordered these over new year, just had to wait for the pipes to be ready before shipment.
These should help the turd stop a bit better now

Good man, been mulling over the idea of some of these myself, will wait until my discs and pads get close to need replacing i think though.
