The subject line pretty much describes the problems but is on a G reg 320i Touring.

So the question is

Clutch or bushes somewhere?

If clutch, do I pull the engine or the box

cheers

Clutch...

My iS used to be terrible in traffic, now with it's lovely new Sachs clutch it never judders 8)

I changed my clutch at the same time as changing the engine....

Will be easier to drop the box, no need to lift the engine out.

Cheers M8

I was hoping it wasn't going to be the clutch, but still I can christen my new garage pretty well doing that!

Definately the clutch.

I also had this problem on my e30 when it was a 2 litre, fitted a new clutch with the 2.7 conversion and it never judders now.

Cheers,
