finally got it after registration delays due to local holidays.
My God these thing fly!!! how an E30 copes with this engine is beyond me!!
Just fitted 4 new Pirelli tyres and apart from the front crank oil seal leaking (booked in next week) and the dash display is wonkey (but all info replaicated on TV screen) its a very clean motor. TV works on the move which is nice for long Saudi highway trips but must say the stereo is a bit weak.
saw 230km/h on a short blast in Saudi yesterday but this was on the old tyres and i was not to happy about them, but even at that rate of knots it was still happy to push on
pics as it is now, but will have a good polish this week and post some E39 and E30cab/E30sport pics soon!!

By way of a celebration i pimped my BBQ

Good choice squire.
The saloon pulls off the (old'ish design) style 5's better than my touring. They really age my silver car.
When I went to Egypt, I thought perhaps I misunderstood how much fuel was, so I asked again. 10p petrol and 15p diesel, with a 10:1 conversion rate. It was when I got back that I realised why he was happy to be a personal choffer for half a day for around £6(english). That would have filled his car up!
Given your climate, I would make sure the cooling system is top notch.
