Hi,

Someone is selling a set of H&R 40mm springs from their 318is. Will they fit my 318i '89 model?

Cheers

the rears will but the fronts won't as a 318iS uses the same larger front struts as a 325 mate 51mm, whereas your 318 will have 45mm.

plus these springs are designed for a 6 cylinder car, they are 35mm drop too

I'm sure H&R do some 318/316/320 springs and they won't break the bank new either

Ok so they're not really worth getting then?

Anyone know where I can get a decent suspension set for my 318i from then? Want to lower car 40mm all round.

Or where I can get the right size dampers from if springs fit?

Cheers
