I've got an Ant chip in my B28 and it runs very well. I'm just wondering if:
1) Can you live map / rolling road map Motronic
2) If so, is it worth doing?
I quite like the idea of keep motronic as it works well and is very reliable but I'd like to be certain that the mapping is properly optimised. I've spent a few years umming and arring about megasquirt or Emerald but haven't managed to talk myself into spending the money!

Jazzman - Contact ShepsEvo3 on this forum, I'm pretty sure he can live map motronic systems now. His garage is on Castle combe doorstep.

I built a M20B28 first using AFM + Ant chip and the later went MS. With MS i gained 5bhp and more torque cannot remember how much but the engine started, idled and ran much better in traffic / normal driving with Motronic than MS after spending one day on dyno.
Hope this helps

Slightly off topic Jazzman, have you had your 2.8 on a rolling road yet?

Oh well, just curious to know what power your engine build made... especially with chipped motronic.

Some time later in the year I'll see about getting some numbers when we have a stretch of good weather.
Would have been funny to take it out in the snow but I would probably
if I hit anything!

not yet, one of those things I plan on having done
I've been thinking about having a live map done as it seems to be running a little rich.
