Hey guys just thought I'd say Hi and tell you a little about where I am from and what background knowledge I have with cars ...

I am from Australia ,Melbourne in fact and I have been doing up cars for some time ,I recently sold my pride n joy of 8 years a 1988 Holden VL Turbo ex cop car ,these things have a cult following over here and were basically produced between 1986 and 1988 ,I had receipts totalling $28,000 AUD for the car and ended up selling her for $9500 AUD last year .

I have been driving an AH Astra around for the last year and recently picked myself up a Atlantis blue E30 to do up on the side ,it will be a cheaper project for me and prob will not end up as crazy as the VL Turbo build ...

I appreciate it if I could post up some pics of my old car for you all to look at as it may be something you have not seen before ,VL Turbo's here as I said have a cult following and it is not unusual to see these cars hitting the QTR Mile in less than 10 seconds .........

Mine was an 11 second car which was pretty much fully rebuilt over an 8 year period............The car itself is a Holden Commodore basically with an RB30 engine in it ,this was part of a partnership between Holden and Nissan in the 1980'S that saw Nissan providing N/A and Turbo 6 cylinder engines for the VL Commodore .....

The car was running on 19 pounds of boost ........the guy who tuned the car owns the VL in the video (PANNIC)and is one of if not the best in the country at tuning and building all kinds of performance cars .........

And of course at the bottom my new project the E30.........

Any questions please feel free to ask ...........

LOL yeah that would be a laugh , seriously blew a lot of cars away with the VL had the RB30A8 block which was good for 600rwkw with a lot of work done to it inside but the blocks are bullet proof like the e30 botom end's ...

The local ricer boys yeah ,I never hung with anyone on that side just stuck with the Holden boys and suprised a lot of people with the sheer power of that car ,was good pulling up next to Ford typhoons and Monaro's at the QTR proving a strong point of what was under the bonnet ,I wasn't the type to drag this thing around the streets as 1: it had a shit load of power on hand right through the power curve and 2: putting other people's lives at risk .

Very sad to see her go but yeah I like the idea of the RB30A8 Block in the E30 ,would sound evil as .........
