Does anyone have these fitted of so what size tyres, I've found a set on ebay but I don't want to buy them until I'm certain they'll fit without any arch adjustments.

Does anyone know of a U.K stockist that might be able to advise me on these?

i looked into getting these, they would fit.... if the cars not lowerd, but if it is you may well need your arches rolled...

the thing that stopped me tetting them is the price of tires!!

Eh? It all depends on the size, which Tommo didn't specify? All I've seen are 16" anyway.

You might be talking about the 9j ones, in which case tyres would be expensive.

They wouldn't be too much for the 7.5j would they?

16" will fit without a problem, I think you can drop it at least 40mm, possibly up to 60mm, without having any arch problems as well.

They do look a bit crap on a car at standard ride height though!

I thought they'd look quite tasty, budeget doesn't allow for lowering springs as well, not yet anyway, unless I sacrifised getting the chip and bbtb but I have the distinct impression that those are essentials on an iS

They look "OK" but it's sooooo obvious that they'd look 100 times better if the car was dropped.

I suppose on the M Tech suspension that the iS has as standard it'll be slightly lower and reduce this effect a little.

I'll dig out some pics for you later though from when I had them on my car.

I really would do the drop before the engine mods, nowt looks worse than a motor with decent rims on with off roader clearance under the arches.

Wilson - who lives Ipswich way had a brand new, still boxed and unused set of lowering springs & dampers, think they are a budget make (FK) but I think he only wanted Ԛ£100 for the lot, pm him as they may have gone. They may not be the best, but should give a noticeable improvement in both the looks & handling dept.

I think whilst the FK stuff is cheap compared to bilsteins etc, I am sure they are German and have TUV approval etc, so they shouldn't be total shiiite

here's the link to the thread where those FK springs are for sale.

I assume 325 suspension components fit the iS?
