Lovely, i think you should definatly keep it completely standard! Ohh, and take a look at the exhaust position.
Keep it looking soo clean.

William, that looks very, very nice!
You seem to have found a good one there.
I'd like to have a proper look sometime!
I'd check the exhaust though, seems to be at a funny angle.

Your right, there have been a few Motorsport posts recently. Yours looks nice bud. The weird thing for me is this..., since i've had mine (03) I've never seen another one in the metal which is mad since I cover so many miles a week!
hopefully I'll change all this on the meet in september. Find the thread mate and get signed up.
PJ.

what exactly is a motorsport? A soft top 325i, or 325i sport?! Off subject (sorry) do all genuine 325i sports have the mtech kit?

A 325i Sport is the hard-top 2 door, and has the M-Tech Bodykit as standard.
A 325i Motorsport is a cabriolet, and has many special features. Most had M-Tech Kits.
Someone else will know even more details.
William...you asked for it on the exhaust front!

thanks for the comments, I think I have found a good one and other than all the little things you always find (broken clips, dead bulbs, CRAP EXHAUST ANGLE!) it seems perfect. I am seriously chuffed.
Gazza, the other one is my old/current 318i that i've had for the last 18 months and will be selling to fund the m'sport. I will be very sad to see her go, just have to put all my efforts into the sport instead.
PS. dave, will definitely pop over some time, its such a cruise mobile would be just right for a sunny trip up the a14.

ha ha, definitely do. The WORST thing is my insurance doesn't come in until the 26th of september cos of NCBs, so i cant drive it for a whole month!!!!!!!
good thing is that by the time i can, it will have all the problems ironed out, short shift done, and ready for a cruisin.......
4 pot in the mean time though

NOLONGERBUG4LIFE, gotta agree on the hot Sept/Oct as mine's spent most of the summer getting a good tidy up. Will need to use it for these coming months to at least get my insurance worth.

If you are insured fully comp on your 318 cab you should be able to drive other cars third party but check your policy or have a chat to your broker/insurerWilliam wrote:ha ha, definitely do. Normally you can drive other cars if you are fully comp but, I found out not long ago, you can only drive another car providing 1 you have your own insurance FC on your own car and the other car concerned is insured by some one else.
It might not be the way with others policies im not sure.

hi mate, yeah I thought that too but could find no wording to that effect in my policy. Im going to ring them up and ask though. The worst thing is my mum is insured on it really cheap (to get it home) but I can't drive it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Cotty180 wrote:If you are insured fully comp on your 318 cab you should be able to drive other cars third party but check your policy or have a chat to your broker/insurerWilliam wrote:ha ha, definitely do.
