After reading another m50 link.I`ve found out that i have to swap the chip in my clocks(M40 1.8) for a 6 pot one.
Not a problem as i have a set.
Just wanted to know why and what the differences were?

I was just going to swap the clocks,but what can i get the other chip from?Its nice to have things working as they should if possible

That's interesting,Will,as the 'swingometer' on my M50 conversion is wildly in-acurate,tells me I am getting 50mpg at 70mph!
Has anyone tried one of these gadgets?
