i pick it up on tuesday so no pics till then!
A few clues,
just shy of 300hp and 450Nm
that should be enough to get you guessing!

I was going to guess a BMW other than an E30, as it's in the other BMW section

yes a vanos and auto, it also has 440Nm of torquey bits
It has the switchable suspension too, but not sure if they all have this.
Been sniffing around old E38 7's but figure i am too young for these, so the E39 fits in nicely, i have been using the sport as my daily run about and driving to Saudi is not comfortable even with the 3.4 diff and it will get worse once the coil overs go on, so something more suited to mile munching is in order!
Will post pics once th banks open and i can get the cash

then surely the better option is to put your M5 in the post and send it here so i can at least enjoy it cheaply
I must admit every time i come back to UK it scares the hell out of me how you guys can continiue running cars considering the tax, fuel, insurnace, parking, tolls, fines etc etc it is crazy
In fact last time i was there i had a V70 vulva and filling Diesel up was a labourious task as firstly here someone fills the fuel for you, your involvment is to 1. open the window and shout how much money you wish to spend 2. open the fuel flap button (not an E30 isuue!) 3. pay the money 4. close the window (some places even clean this too!!)
but in UK you are expected to fill the damn thing yourself, and i think i spent more in one sitting than i have spent all year in my cab...people wonder why i left the place....
