how do you tell what ratio a diff is??? :D

look at the tag on the diff. you will probably need some emery paper to clean it up.

There should be a metal tag on the diff cover which is secured by one of the bolts. It should be stamped on there!

If the tag is MIA or unreadable you will need to use your secondary shcool maths.
Turn the input shaft one complete turn and note how many time an output shaft turns.
Then comes the hard bit....divide one into the other.... winkeye
