getting tinted red lights to shine yellow?

thinking of doing my rear indicators red

you cannot get a tinted red lens to shine yellow without installing excessively bright yellow bulbs.

the only way is to tint the indicators red and use the reverse lights as indicators, or only tint stripes of the indicator red, look at an E39 or E34 reverse light and you willknow what i mean

would an l.e.d bulb in a green or yellow work?

they are quite bright.
