airflow metre

hi, i found a bit of oil in the airflow metre when i took it off...can anyone tell me the reason for this? or is this normal.

Do you have a cone filter fitted, I;ve seen some cone filters soaked with too much oil in the past and that can cause oil in the AFM.
I've seen traces of oil in the TB from the breather return and sometimes it does make it's way into the AFM. Just give it a clean I don't think it's anything to be worried about unless there's an excessive amount.

nope just a standard box, thought about getting a K&N cone filter. theres not loads of oil just a bit, but like you say i give it a clean and see how it goes. cheerz
