Gave her a wash

Binned the cheesy ///M badge

Binned the horrendous Clarion cd player in favour of a more OEM looking Becker unit.
Whilst all the gubbins was out I sorted out that little switch that was poking through beside the heater controls. Rewired it to the push switch to the above right of the steroe as it didn't appear to be connected to anything.
Neatens things up no end.

Apparently its BMW brillantrot in colour not the Henna, hellrot or zinnobar as previousl;y thought

Give wheels proper clean
Sort out rear end handling as feels too soft when cornering
get new gaitors and nob for interior
Source battery cover and wee plastic tray thing
Source front brake ducts
Retrofit obc
loads more wee twidly bits

Ta for the link.
I'm happy with what I paid for it regardless if the vendor made a profit or not.
It fulfills its purpose very well and I don't think it will ever lose money

I had 2 other projects on the go before the purchase of this but as it was on my doorstep at a giveaway price I could hardly refuse.
Performance wise it is like no other E30 I have had before however something is a bit wayward with the rear end handling. It feels too soft and spongy.
The conversion was very rough around the edges with wiires hanging out all over the place looms cluttering up the glovebox so as it stands its prob 95% done.
It is fast and puts the power down well but would benefit from a remap to complement the M50 manifols and BBTB. Not sure whether to do this just now or wait til the US spec M3 cams come along. Still looking to purchase some if anyone knows of a reputable supplier.
I couldn't afford an E30 M3 so this would be the next best thing IMO and should be knocking out around 250bhp by the time I'm finished. Being RHD is also a plus for A and B road blasts.
I need to get it up on my ramps so I can get a proper look underneath to see whats up with the rear end and to check why the brakes aren't as good as my cabs but that will have to wait until I finish sorting out my cab and supercharging my E46 330i Sport Touring
