Well its clearly that itme of year when you start thinking about the future that 2010 will bring

I'm currently running 3 motors including the BM and a Jet Ski.

Im trying to get my interest back in my cab, as much as i luv driving it etc and how it looks ive just lost the lust to drive it/ work on it.

I havent seen it since the start of october and dont miss it either, is it cos th ejet ski is my new toy?

Im considering storing it for a year and maybe taking a break away from here for a while and get into the jet ski

Or my other idea was change it or do some more work on it rolling road maybe

Im at a logger head at the moment, i have even considered putting it back to standard and selling it

Any helpful suggestions whould be great

thanks

Neil

Leave it be until spring, then take it out for a nice run with the roof down when the trees are just getting green. That should sort you out for another year :)

If your in a situation where you can financially afford to shut it away for a year I'd do that, the amount of people that sell up and move on always seem to find their way back again.
Do that then get it out of hibernation, take it for a drive and then see how you feel.. If it doesn't stir any feelings then sell it, if it does then you've still got it with no regrets.

Always liked your cab

Neil, I think it's time to find a bigger engine. Will be a new car all over again.

When I used to have a cab it just felt like a liability rather than an asset during the winter - but when the weather turned around I struggled to think of a car I'd rather own (only sold it as I've got a sentimental attachment to the brown 4dr - I know, I'm sick in the head). See how you feel in the summer would be my thinking. If you're still feeling bored then, then you'll know it's time to move on.

exactly what everyone else is saying. a cab is pretty shit in the winter! but come summer park up that dodgy 4x4 and merc, blast the cab down to where you keep the jet ski, take that for a spin in a lake and then another blast back in the cab. best of both worlds......................................................................................................................................................p.s, shot gun ya manifold

I lost interest after mine got vandalised last spring so now not so bothered about the cosmetic side of things at least for now, but I have no intention of selling it, I enjoy driving it too much and cant really think of a replacement that Id be happy with without spending 20k plus, even then it would be running costs.
So it always come back to the e30.

Forget about it till spring once the weather gets better the love will come back.

I feel for you on this one, having similar thoughts myself having only used the sport a handfull of times this year, im coming to the conclusion that i enjoy the building more than just owning a tidy car and since ive nearly ran out of jobs i fancy a new project.

ive got as far as talking about selling it but knowing ill probably miss it when its gone.

as a few people have said to me, its a decision only you can make.

Shove it away come spring throw it up for sale. Let the punters decide.
