Just bought some alloys from a fella of the Zone when I checked the looked straight but I never ran them along the ground, I did that putting them away once I got them home and I notice a couple wobble and don't seem to run true.

Could this been the tyres (don't look to worn apart from one) or have I just been :hump: and taken for a complete :wan: ?

Please tell me this acute paranoia..?

Have I just bought three f***ed wheels that I now can only throw away?

Not really a good way to tell rolling them along the ground, cos it could be rough etc and make it look like theyre not true.
Either take a good look at them sitting still, or fit em on your motor and then spin em while looking. Will be easier to tell when they are rotating on a fixed axle

I have a pretty level paved back garden but I like the idea of seeing them on the car. I will give that a go.

I take it that if they are buckled then they should be thrown away, I can't see any cracking etc?

having seen these wheels on 2 cars i can tell u they shudnt be buckled.
they certainly werent when they were on my e21 and werent when i sold them to a fellow zoner and werent when they were on the car they just came off.

several zone members have seen the car in question running and can tell u the wheels did not appear buckled at all.

if they are buckled then dont panic, iirc they shud be able to be straightened by an expert

yep
ive seen all 4 wheels on a balace machine and there isnt anyhing thatyou would notice them to be fcukd

im sure that if they were buckled id have been told by people at welsh meets yet simon steve scott none of the e36 boys have said anything about them
there has been no vibratio through the car with them

there will be a throw on the tyre you get that with any tyre hence the need for balancing

keep me informed though about if they are buckled as i woul like to know
as im unaware of them being so

OK, thanks guys, I am new to this and never bought alloys before. I just wanted to make sure I hadn't made school boy error and not checked what I should have etc. Have to admit was a little panicky (might have had a little influence...)

Richy, no offence meant man, this would not have been my first school boy error!
