Poor pics at the moment. I was in it all day, so its dirty and the underneath is dirty. Note brown stuff in the arches pics are grit. Some places paint is a bit dull, looks like it has never been polished.

The shocks are yellow.

I will take some proper pics when the snow goes.

I need to:

Clean it, all underneath, arches
Clar bar, Polish and wax
Remove all council stuff
Remove tints
Fit Tech 1 wheel
BBS wheels
Euro grills
remove nasty speakers
I think I might remove the Tech 1 kit to waxoyl it.

Thats about it about apart from a service. Car drives perfectly. My dad drove it from Manchester. Its got MOT passed first time not advisories, tax and classic car insurance.

Hopefully when I get 1 year NCB I'll convert it to manual and take it to Santa Pod.

:D

Yeah the boot lid seems flat. I would need to polish quite a bit. Obliviously the spoiler needs a respray.

I took some outside pics and these pics are crap.

perhaps the hazzards were on too :)

That's very nice Blitz, I saw the thread when you first purchased this so, glad to see it's being put to good use.. With it being LHD, there are no manifold restrictions, you could lower an s50/2 in there winkeye but before anything else, remove the italic numbers from the bootlid! 8O

that is true.. but if it has english plates, then these are issued by DVLA, but firstly the car must have an MOT. So either the MOTist was a dumb ass, the hazards were on, or blitz has re-wired them :)

The indicators light up when you turn the lights on. I guess its from factory.

I had a little drive in it. Its super smooth. The kickdown in fun, and the steering feels much better then my 316i. Also has less body roll. Handles superbly.

Nice one Blitz. Stick one of Maurice's (Speedtouch) mild chips in the ECU and it should liven it up considerably. Autos suffer badly if they are revved when not on the move - particularly in neutral, so you have to learn to sit quietly at the lights and ignore the pillocks in pugs and corsas twitching their throttles. There's no 1st gear though so when you plant your foot, you're up and away while others are scrabbling for the next gear. Keep your foot properly planted and, well it gets interesting winkeye

Its my dad's, he imported it. Bought it from Tau Sales. Its rare to find a E30 on that site, but it popped up. This was for sale along side it.

its a switchable Auto box hence the ecu in the boot for the gearbox. the engine ecu is still in the same place under the dash at the right hand side ( above the glove box on this car with it being left hand drive ) the one in the boot controls the gearbox

Just keep in standard and take off all the council bits off and do any work make it mint. Its just going to be garaged all the time and taken out when theres good weather.

I'm going to get a pre-face-lift 320i for my next car or a 325i if insurance is reasonably.
