Will a 320i / 520i 24 valve head fit onto a 525e block?
Got the chance of a mint E34 520i 24v and the idea of sticking the 525e block in there just sprung into my mind. Probably impossible, but worth asking about anyway...

If it won't fit, it won't fit - was going to keep the engine in the E34 and just change the block in it if it was possible, but if it's an M52, then it's impossible so I'll just not bother...
