Just got in from a long days work with the underbody seal.... and the filler. HOW nasty is wax oil, i'm now covered in the stuff, looks amazing underneath the car mind.

Anyhow, back to the reason for the post... my arches are nacked... and well there is very little left of them at the moment. Does anyone have any bright ideas of a cheap and easy way to fix it. don't know how to get the good old filler in there as I cant afford to have new arches welded in.

brake out the fiberglass then or mesh and then filler over it

Yup, glass is your best bet, although it might upset the odd MOT tester as I think the rears are supposed to be steel for structural reasons.

Glassfibre resin is even nastier to work with than waxoyl too, at least you can wash waxoyl off, need a sander to get dried resin off skin :lol:

Well, off to Halfords for me, see if i can get this sorted on the cheap :D

here goes another day of getting covered in lovely wax oil
