Well, rain in Spain is rare, BUT, las week it rained over here, and I went scoobadiving with my 318is.
Engine's gone.
NOW, what's easier to fit funnier to drive? It's gonna be my everyday car, and I don't want too much hassle (I'm already swaping a 20VT with haldex into my rallye). I'd love a 6-inline, as we already have two of them at home (E34 M5 and 528 E28).
SO, which one? (more than 180hp please). And a guide or parts list??
Blew my M42 this weekens...

you can go for a m20 and build a 2.7 that will roughly give near to 200 bhp, or a m50 2.5 or 2.8 from the e36

I vote multi valve 6 cyl, if you want around 200bhp both the m50 2.5 and m52 2.8 will do. M52 is a lighter engine and with more torque, the M50 is good enough in an E30 tho

Well, it seems I've found two possible routes. First, a 2.7 engine ETA with the complete wiring. As far as I've read, if I fit a 320 head on that engine, it "should" go well.
And then, an E34 M5 engine (just like my brothers). It's a bit more expensive but comes complete (even gearbox)The only problem would be making it road legal (Spain sucks.....) What should I need to do to fit that in the E30?
