You can buy mine, £35 posted, it has a slight split in it from my charge through a hedge, but barely noticeable.

I would agree they are not likely to be that protective of your paint as they will hold moisture in the backing

still to be fair guys, being as my car would be classed as a council by most on here, i dont surpose a bra could make anyone think any less of my car, but im over the moon with her, and thats all that matters, and im sure everyone feels the same about theres, council or not, being different is what makes us individual, but thanks all for the help and comments, oh and digs, lol

look stupid, cause damage, make the car look worse than a few stone chips would.
if the paint is still 'mint' after 20 years, it can't be that prone to damage from normal use. plus they do absoluely nothing to protect the front edge of the wings, the valance strip under the grilles. bumper, or lower valance.
only of use to protect the paint of a concourse car on the very rare occasion it's driven to a show, and will undoutably be removed 99.9% of the time so as not to cause any damage.

I run a bra when going to and from shows with the 323.

As you can see it is a full bra rather than just the bonnet.
I run masking tape across the paint where the edge of the bra comes to and along the front of the bonnet edge.
I never leave it on and if it gets wet I get it off and dried asap.
I have used the bra since 93 and it does keep the chips at bay as well as mashing the flies before they get onto the grille.

I don't buy into the theory that they damage the paintwork. My wife worked in the Lamborghini dealers in Madrid and they regularly used bras on the cars when a potential punter was offered a test drive. I can't believe that they'd use them if they damaged the paint !
And yes, I did try to blag a drive in one, and no, I wasn't succesful....

These are sensations as hard to forget as they are to ignore.....

Car bras are really for driving through deserts where hitting a sandstorm (or probably just following a big lorry) will sandblast your paint in hours. So yes, they make sense in those conditions. Here in the UK they're just grim!

I reckon it will look smart with bra, coilovers, 14" banded steels and a roof rack. That way he wouldnvhave to sort the arches.DanThe wrote:He'd better not be!Dezzy wrote:
