full body resto and re paint in a non bmw colour, seam welded shell and renforced in the usual weak spots. full cage, bilstein grp N coilovers, brembo 4 pots and 325mm disks up front, adjustable rear beam, modded beam mountings, re enforced rear arms, modded LSD and dif mountings (e36 style back cover and tied in to the shell), recaro SRD interior, ATL fuel cell in the back with fuel system and an engine of some sort
so just a couple of things

most of it is done.
i just need to seriously think about the engine as this is a once in life time project.
all the parts are here, just in storage at the mo. i plan on doing the bodywork some time in the next 6 - 9 months. and have it re fitted and assembled by next winter by then i should know what engine i'll put in

My dirty moordore

Bloody wheel bolts fell off and chipped the paint on the cabby. Though it does need a respray.

Long term the list of things it needs to look mint, like the ones E30.de. When I get a full time job I will restore it, because I never want to sell it. In a couple years time hopefully.
Strip it completely to make sure the shell is 100% rust free. (Bulkhead mainly)
Clean underside of the car and waxoyl
Full respray inc replacement wing, bonnet and bootlid
Might try and find a much better condition interior as the door cards look faded.
Any minor surface rust eradicated.
Replace old looking parts in the engine bay.
New sound proofing in the bonnet
New genuine BMW exhaust system with chrome trims
Better speakers
Replace broken fog light
Refurb BBS wheels + Toyo's all round
Passenger side sun visor
M-tech suspension or aftermarket solution
All bushes replaced
Electric OEM aerial
New chrome trim around windscreen
Replacement instrument cluster.
Make sure everything works and all the mechanisms, buttons, switches feel perfect to operate.
Thats about it. 100% original though. I want it to be in the kind of condition B7's cabby is.

Mine is residing quietly in its home but with just a few bits off the engine
