i havent had the money to get stuck in with getting it ready for mot....
However, i have just started working again driving taxis sooo here goes.
I saw a e30 cab on my job the other night. Its been sat for 9 years, needs a new hood and the paint is full of gunge. (bargaining time) i can see through the mess and have fell in love with the car and have made an offer to the owner. Its really nice underneath it all so who knows, i may be the proud new owner of an e30 318 cab. My reckonings are that it be worth around 2k in the summer? It has the original bbs alloys too. Well cool. I wil keep yall posted. Anyone need any parts from my 316?
i have given up on my 316....

If it has been sat for 9 years with little or no movement it will probably cost quite a few quid to get it up to scratch. Post some pictures up, check it all over for rust etc etc is you could find it could be proper fooked. Cars don't like being sat for 9 years.

Finally promoted to Regular! Only took 7 years...

Don't want to put a downer on your enthusiasm, ..... but if that cabbie has been sat for 9 years, it's going to cost a damned sight more to get into shape than your 316. If you're finding it too expensive to get the 316 up, running and roadworthy, how on earth do you think you'll find the cabbie easier?
