Hi guys,
we all still on for Saturday?? I'll be recovering from a soar head but will be showing a brave face!lol.
So just to recap, the people who are possibly wanting their cars done are..
1.Tedswagon
2.Chemical Al
3.e21Jason
that right guys??
All going good I should be able to start on yous lot from around half 10 onwards, whoever wants to show up first feel free. If any of you want to give me a phone to discuss things -07922561881.
Also just to let all people know, If you can park round the side of the unit with the small green doors, my car will be there also. Just because the front area isn't too pretty at the moment, as you'll see when you arrive.
Look forward to see yous on saturday!!

Think I've got two spares Andy, one broken and one straight. Do you want me to bring the straight one - I'll be going to the off-site parts store tonight (last chance before Saturday).

Hi Chaps,
Unfortunately, i'm not going to make it tomorrow - Gutted, but the wife is working 9-4pm and i'm on kiddie duty!
Was going to show you all my new car, but here are a few pics instead (not great, but this is due to my ineptitude with a camera, and the decidedly murky aspect of todays weather):

Just picked it up in Buckingham yesterday, and on the way back I picked up the wheels in Stafford (390mm so 15.5"Metrics, but they have 8mm all round and they are 1.5 yo Dunlop Sport 2000's so should last a wee while).
I know it's a 5 series, but I would expect you lot to appreciate the E30's spiritual big brother - Good points - It has no rust anywhere (and believe me I looked - 2 hrs on my back, and removing carpet lining/boot linings etc). It has a full BMW service history and 65k on the clock (just had Insp II & Cambelt done in May, where the fella spent £750.00), and 1 owner from new (91 yo!!). He wanted £1700 for it, but it had a blown exhaust and a smallish dent on the front passenger wing, so I got him down to a lovely, round £1000.
Bad points - dent as mentioned (but tis fairly difficult to spot due to the dark colour, and should cost £60 to fix with Dent Central), no stereo or speakers (which will cost a small fortune to rectify), comfort cloth seats, the blown exhaust (£50 fix by GB Motors today) and surprise surprise the SI board is playing up, but apart from that it's in stunning condition - I'm well chuffed!
Hopefully see you all soon,
Al
