Did you have to set a high excess?

They came up as the cheapest on go compare but they wanted a £750 excess which is a bit steep!

try performance direct, I've got two E30s, both on limited mileage classic policies with agreed values for the cars (Sport and 325i Cab). £200 each per annum and I've had a 4 SP 30s and two claims in last five years.

Need2Insure are very good. Their details are in the car insurance sticky at the top of the E30 Chat index. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

I used R & H brokers who deal only with equity redstar. Cost £168 with limited mileage of 5000 miles a year (325i Convertible) if it's any help. Can give you the number if it's of use?
