Hi
First of all must say this site is absolutely brilliant!!
Just brought an 89 dolphin grey 325i sport. Needs some TLC, but a very tidy square car. However when idling, if I touch the throttle slightly, the car trys to stall before revving?
I'm going to strip the engine head down anyway (with the help of the tech part on this site - VERY helpful!!) :D
Wondering if anybody can help with what could be causing it and what to check/clean to fix?
Any help greatly appreicated!! :?

Welcome to the zone! It could be a number of things but a clean up/change of the basics might well cure whatever it is. First thoughts would be the air filter or maybe timing. Get the service items done and get the Co2 checked. If that hasn't cured it you will at least find it easier to isolate any specific faults. Good luck & enjoy. :thumb:

Check the throttle position sensor is correctly alligned.
Its directly under the throttle body.
It should make a clicking sound when the throttle is opened and again at full throttle.
